I have a Nikkor AF-S, 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6, ED lens and I just noticed some fungus in bottom corner. AHHHHH!
Is there anyone you would recommend over others to send it to, or take it to for repair?
Back to factory?
I live in the Tampa Bay area, St. Pete to be exact. Any advice welcome.

Fungus growth in a lens is not good. If it is near the outer edge you may be OK. Fungus can destroy any lens coating and in some cases can actually etch the glass.
Check with your local camera shops first. Many are factory authorized repair locations. I would suggest that you check on the price for such repairs as a fungus growing in your lens would not be covered under warranty. It could be more expensive than the lens is worth.

It is near outer edge, usually cropped as I try and reach out to distance, it becomes visible. I thought it was glare when I first saw it! Anyway, hope I can get it repaired for decent. I love the lens. Never been wet, but been in a lot of hot and humid spots, especially summer baseball. I found a couple factory authorized repair places nearby. try them Monday.
