Now there are an odd couple, I always like seeing either. Makes for handy photography Frank. Hopefully the word will get out & a bunch of wading birds will start hanging out.

Today we had 3 Roseate spoonbills, 6 Wood Storks and 8 White ibis in the swale. All of the waders got along just fine except for the Spoonbills ... one of them claimed most of the swale as it own and had multiple altercations with the other 2 whenever they encroached into its claimed territory. The water is getting pretty low so tomorow will probably be the last good day of wading for the birds.
