Excellent captures. I especially like the Least Bittern trying to stay hidden in the reeds.

Interesting thing is that I saw four least bitterns on this trip. This one was out in the open for at least 15 minutes. Normally they are very reclusive and in heavy reeds.

I have been seeing Least Bitterns out in the open more often of late at the Viera Wetlands. It's breeding season and they are more active and venturing out in the open now.
