Covestro will bring mass balanced TPU products to market in the Asia-Pacific region. In the second half of 2022 Mass-balanced production of thermoplastic polyurethane that reduces carbon footprint. The product goes on sale in Asia Pacific following the launch in Europe. The Taiwan manufacturing center is expected to receive ISCC Plus certification in the first half of 2022. Covestro aims to expand its portfolio of products using alternative resources. This is part of efforts to promote a circular economy.
