Nice set of shots, Pat. I saw the Black Crowned Night Heron there yesterday, but it would not come out in the open allowing me to get a shot. I was under the impression that you would not be in the area until tomorrow.

There were actually two(possibly three) Black Crowned Night Herons at the Click Ponds today. Both were out in the open but this was the better pose. Too bad it's not from the other side and you could see his 'mane'. Will post a nice head shot of the other showing the mane, later.
Decided to visit today instead of Wednesday. Glad we did. Thanks again for your help.
