Not a great professional quality image. I immediately thought red shouldered, but it looks like something else. This is hand held zoomed to 1365mm. Just to show field results. Canonhs60 hs. Bird was in mixture of light & I was looking east in the morning. He/she was sure making a lot of noise. photo upload sites

Can't see the breast very well, so can't tell which way the colors run, but IMHO it is either s Sharp-Shinned or a Broad-Winged Hawk.. In Stokes Field Guide to Birds, on pg 167, the image at the lower right looks pretty close...
