Sincerely, Nancy Corona Refuge Ranger Merritt Island NWR 321-861-0668 Milton Heiberg was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and educated at New York University, and Cornell Graduate School of Biological Sciences---but mostly self-taught in the field of photography. In 1980 Milton opened a studio in New York’s photo district, which he operated for eighteen years. There he did advertising and location photography including covers, promotional and editorial illustration photographic assignments for all of the major publishing companies. In the field of nature photography, he founded and taught the Nature Photography course at the New York City Audubon Society from 1982 until he moved to Florida in 1998. He is a frequent lecturer on wildlife photography, special effects, and general photography. Tens of thousands of his images have been published worldwide. He is the author of seven books on photographic technique including The Essentials of Nature Photography, Tern Book Company 1997.
