I saw this plant on the edge of the lake adjoining the Audobon center for Birds of Prey in Maitland, Fl. "Old Ned" identified this plant for me years ago when he supplied his expert knowledge, I saw that one near Ocala. Buttonbush (Cephalanthus occidentalis).
