Saturday morning was a very good day for seeing the wildlife. We typically get out there between 6:45 and 7:00AM and are ready to leave around 9:00AM ... the heat and humidity have kicked in pretty good by then. We ride our bikes on the levee and stop to walk to areas where we want to look around or to take photos. Most of of my photos are taken while straddling my bike.
Yes Ira, the Opossum had just crawled out of some tall rushes at the edge of a marshy area.
