WE did an early morning hike at the Pine Lilly Preserv in Orange County. We found many of these beautiful Tarflowers in bloom. These were taken with a Canon Powershot SX70 HS which has replaced my Nikon Coolpix P530 which finally died after several years of hiking abuse.

Thanks Tim. They look familiar because I posted some Tarflower photos a while back that you commented about all of the bugs on them. These flowers only had one love bug on them and thankfully on the way home we only picked up 5 or 6 on our windshield.
