This Virginia Saltmarsh Mallow (Kosteletz pentacarpos) was found, today, at Seminole Ranch. It was the first time I have ever seen this particular species though it is reported to be common. The Scarlet rose-mallow (Hibiscus coccineus) was found at Tosohatchee last week. The marsh areas adjacent to SR50 and SR520 are loaded with the Swamp Rosemallow (Hibiscus grandiflorus).Virginia Saltmarsh Mallow (Kosteletz pentacarpos)

Nice photos, I like the flowers on the Scarlet species. Thanks for sharing your plant knowledge.
