Well, when it comes to our native plants in this state, I know next to nothing. Although I did not know what these were when I took the photograph, seeing flowers along the shoreline made for a beautiful day.
I have been told that this plant is Pluchea odorata which is a species of flowering plant in the aster family, Asteraceae. Common names include Saltmarsh Fleabane and Shrubby Camphorweed.

These plants are in full bloom now and very beautiful. Besides their beauty their abundant blooms are great pollinator attractors.
