We took a snow coach tour through Yellowstone National Park March 4. The only way to get in the park this time of year is on a snow coach or a guided snowmobile tour. It was somewhere between 10-20 below the day we went. Our driver said the bison had to eat about 40 pounds of grass a day, sure looked hard to believe they could find that much. Crappy photos, I couldn't get there eyes to show up. The last photo of an old bull looked to me like he was in pretty tough shape, he stayed in the same spot by some mud pot pools all day.
