Your photos really give a good sense of the damage done due to Irma. I really love that place. It is a hidden jem!! We were out there last weekend and found that most of the hand ferns along the swamp spur were gone. This was proboably due to the hurricane. If we get a chance we will be out there looking for other sites with those ferns.

Hi Frank. I took maintenance road to the Mormon fence line & walked a ways east. Word must be getting out, there were 4 cars parked when I cam back. I like the path thru the woods, but didn't want to take the time. I saw debris pushed up a long ways from the channel. There were a couple of trees that had fallen down last year, but most were since the hurricane.
