Here is another photo of the beautiful scenery found at Blue Cypress Lake. Ira or any other member, take a look at the base of the far right cypress tree. You will notice the background shoreline show across the front of the tree. Why does this occur and what can I do to eliminate it. Thanks for any help you can give

Thanks for any help you can give You are not seeing the shoreline across the front of the tree, and your camera is not photographing it through the tree. It is just an optical illusion. You could use a photo editing program like Photoshop and lighten the tree trunk a little and eliminate the effect.

Thanks Ira. It really had me stumped having never seen that in any of my other photos. Per your recommendation I played around with photshop to lighten the trunk and the optical effect was considerably reduced. Thanks again!!!
