We were driving through the Mohave desert on the way to Palm Springs, Ca. & passed these dunes, I think they are about 1 1/2 miles or better from where we were & I was zoomed to 220mm.  |

Beautiful photograph Tim!!! You have captured the desolate beauty of the desert. We spend several weeks each year wandering in the beautiful New Mexican High desert areas west of Albuquerque.

Thanks Frank. I like all the western states I have been to with their big vistas & the variety of mountain formations. Red rock canyon outside of Las Vegas was really cool, would like to spend a day there sometime.
