Winter-spring trip locations?

First post.
My wife and I want to come view some of the many lovely birds in FL. She can walk, but slowly and not slogging thru a swamp. We are open to Everglades or Ding Darling or other bird locales...but I have not been down there for over 35 yrs.
She will not go on a boat.
We need an area with trails-boardwalks to view critters...before it gets HOT.
We are open to multiple locations over a weeks time and will pull a camper to stay in.

PS...I did not find the GFBWT --Fl birders trail---website very user friendly, unfortunately.

BUT DID find the forum with places to paruse!

We will be down there a week total...just don't know when and have flexible schedule.
