I don't know the details as of now, but I just learned that Tom Brewer (James Thomas Brewer) died on Monday, January 18, 2016. I was told that he had been feeling weak and tired after his leg was amputated, then they found out he had cancer. Tom with all his physical problems loved the outdoors and wildlife photography. Although confined to a wheelchair, Tom would travel to the Viera Wetlands several times a week to photograph birds. He was a friend and will be missed very much...... RIP - Tom............

Thanks Ira. Indeed sad news. He was a generous man always showing us where birds were. I was very fond of Tom and sad about the news.

I never met him in person but he was always friendly on the board. I saw many times where he was generous with his gear, loaning it to people in need. RIP Tom.

Tom was a man always willing to help others, I know that because of personal experience. Thanks for all the advice and time spent on improving my photography skills. RIP.
