The Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program was established in 1990 to protect the natural habitats of Brevard County by acquiring environmentally sensitive lands for conservation, passive recreation, and environmental education. As of this date 22 of these Environmentally Endangered Lands locations have been purchased. For information on their location and what can be found there, visit the Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) web site.
